You can view two of my works in the gallery at Adirondack Art and Picture Framing on NY Rt. 12 north in Barneveld. At the time of writing, 'Powley Road Wetland #3' and 'High Falls #3' are on display there.
The surreal version of "Overlook #2" was shown at the Munson Williams Proctor Institute's "Sidewalk Art Show" June 30 through July 5 at the institute on Genesee St. in Utica. "Powley Road Wetland #3" was on display at the Old Forge Arts Center Photography Exibition which ended on June 4.
Several recent images have been added to the Adirondack rooms in the gallery. I've been working more with the 4x5 camera and the results have been exceptional, the images could easily be printed at 40x50 inches if I had a means to do it. I printed two images from the Adirondack rooms (In Norway's View #1 and #2) at 24x30 and the quality is excellent, "West Canada Valley" has been printed at 50x24 and the detail is amazing. (08/11/06)
We've added three new rooms oriented by subject to the site (so that "Sunrises and Sunsets" aren't so lonely anymore), one for "Relics, Wrecks, and Ruins", one for "Wildflowers", and one for "Butterflies and Bugs". Most of the images in the subject oriented rooms do not appear elsewhere on the site, and most images in the new rooms are making their first appearance on the site. We've also been busy scanning some previously undisplayed work, and re-scanning some images where the quality of the original scans could be improved on (since my scanning skills have improved a great deal in the last few months). Several new images have been added to the Catskills Rooms and the South and West Catskills Rooms in the Gallery, and a few images have been moved between these two rooms to more properly reflect the location of the shot. (01/06/06)
Several winter scenes from the Tug Hill Plateau region were added to the gallery resulting in a sufficient number of winter images to qualify them for a room of their own. Thus we have added a room for "Tug Hill Winter Scenes" to the gallery. We added our first-ever "unnatural" image to the site, entitled "Caveman" and found in the "Catskills" room, a composite of two images from the Rosendale region of Ulster County, and we added a few recent images to the "Adirondacks" room. We now also have a room for Sunrises and Sunsets, a subject and some bright color formerly absent from the site. (12/28/05)
We are printing images on canvas as a result of a customer request and now offer our images, or your images, printed on canvas. Prices for my prints on canvas can be found on the "price page".
I finally replaced my delapidated spot meter and started shooting film again after several months of photographic inactivity (although construction and related projects have managed to keep me busy.) I'm excited to be "back at it" again, got several nice shots on Hurricane Brook recently, and have intentions of getting out a great deal more now.
