Note that I avoid pinpointing the locations of many of my wildflower shots in order to protect the flowers. Some are rare (and possibly endangered) and some might be if enough people discover them- for example the Cardinal Flower is now rare in some places it was fairly common as a result of being picked by humans- I've seen a total of 4 plants in all my travels. If you feel you must pick wildflowers pick the common ones, if you can't easily see 100 or more from where you stand, don't pick any, be sure to leave 99 flowers for every one you pick, and never pick any species that is protected, threatened, or endangered. Take a picture instead- they last longer and won't threaten the survival of the flower species.
